Goku is the MC in DB , so ultimately , he shows and battles a lot from the get go to the last.
In general , the plots of DBZ is for the others to stall until Goku arrives after a power-up and defeats the enemy.

Phoenix Ikki , however , is different. Just like Kuchiki Byakuya or Hyunckel , when the hero is down , he appears at thin air to make a hype entrance , a hype battle....with this exact same flair.

Notice how in the show Dai doesn’t call himself “Dai the hero” instead other people call him that. While Nova is the one that calls himself a hero and says Dai is a self-proclaimed hero. But I will call Nova a hero for saving Popp and Dai, and it doesn’t matter if it was accidental, it’s still saving someone.

Hyunckel back at it agin stealing the spotlight… he must be in 3rd person view being able to come at the right timing.

Looking forward to seeing what else Block (aka the rook) can throw next episode.

Dai struggle against Hym because he was not able to draw the sword (The sword does not see Hym as worthy opponent),,,, but then after some moments Dai realize that he can beat Hym by his fist by using Crest power.......... It is very stupid because there is no reason for Dai not use his crest from start

there is a reason to it , he cannot hold draconic aura for long , there is more than just Pawn in there , if he spends all of draconic aura with him , he would be killed by the others.

The crest isn't some unlimited energy source bruh. Dai still hasn't mastered it yet.

Just FYI, Dai isn't like Baran...he's a child, albeit an extraordinary one. His experience and overall stamina isn't anywhere near his dad's. So it isn't some "plot device" that he just doesn't go into Draconic Aura God-Tier mode every fight because if he messes around too much and underestimates his enemies then all his stamina goes up in smoke and he becomes a sitting duck.

Dude every time Hyunckel comes in I'm always like, fuck this guy, I want Maam to end up with Popp. I want Popp to shine so fucking badly. He's the best.
